General Description of Position:

DSI, a wholesale distributor in the ground water industry, is seeking an accounting clerk in Hickory, NC. This position will encompass all aspects of accounts receivable and accounts payable, along with other duties associated with the accounting department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare vendor invoices for keying
• Reconcile and process vendor invoices based on purchase orders and products received daily
• Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
• Communicate with appropriate branches to resolve discrepancies
• Contact vendors when necessary concerning invoice issues
• Monitor, process, and complete email communications
• Provide clerical support to the accounting department
• Perform other related duties as assigned
