Headwater Companies Lead Graphic Designer - Littleton, CO

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

The Lead Graphic Designer is a visionary leader with a strong aesthetic eye, combining technical design skills with photographic talent, capable of making strategic decisions and delivering cohesive, high-impact visual campaigns across all platforms. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the company branding and help create and develop the visual identity of the business
  • Conceptualize and create diverse assets; logos, website, social media graphics, marketing materials, presentations and print collateral
  • Plan, execute and edit high-quality photo shoots, and integrate photos into design
  • Help with creation and development of our brand voice and written content across our brands
  • Work with marketing team, regional managers, and other departments to assess needs and develop material/content to fulfill those needs
  • Manage project request and workflow in Asana work management platform
  • Help maintain and organize digital marketing library
  • Performs other related duties as required or assigned

Skills and Abilities:

  • Team player who is both organized and detailed, but also can roll with the punches and make quick adjustments
  • Understanding of and experience in branding, layout, color theory and typography in both print and digital media
  • Passion for design, video & photography, and a want to continue learning and growing their skillset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and can present ideas clearly to others
  • Self-motivated, capable of seeking quality solutions and continuously focusing on process improvements, while keeping the needs of the business in the forefront
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects to ensure that the work meets brand standards and deadlines

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the design field or marketing
  • 10+ years of experience in art direction and design
  • 7+ years of experience in product photography and photo retouch

Computer Skills:

  • Expert in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • Strong skills in in Microsoft Office (Word & PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Premier Pro or other video editing platforms
